~Warcraft Reviewed by Dynamo. ------------------- It's very rare when a decent strategy game comes along and bites saying "Oi play me, ya git". This doesn't do this. That is because games can't speak ! This game is brought to you by Interplay. It's your usual plot. You have to choose to play an orc or a human. If you choose to play the orc you have to attack the humans and capture their base camp. If you choose to play as the human you have to protect the base camp. The game develops as you make decisions on movements, attacks, who you train and what you build. Playing as the humans you will start with three foot soldiers and a worker. You must use your soldiers to defend the worker as he is the key to your needs. The worker mines gold and collects the lumber needed for your empire to grow. The worker can then sell the gold to buy more foot soldiers or more workers. Bear in mind that the orcs won't attack in level one they mealy stay hidden until you discover them. You can soon build up and feed your army as your money comes in. Once level one has been completed things soon being to happen. The games becomes a lot more harder and faster. Again you have to find gold and lumber to continue building your domain but the orcs come to find you. This is when the decision making becomes vital to the humans protection and your victory. The graphics are something to be desired for and the gameplay is excellent. The music in the background can begin to iritate but I simply turn the sound to enjot the game. Try it, I can say that you will enjoy playing it. ~Available through the Cheet Sheets Mail Order Service for 8.99 ~See "CD-ROM Products" under ARTICLES section for more info.
